Community Questions

*Why are the lawns dry? - issues with the water (pipes shaking, burst pipes) we turned off the sprinklers. Also, there is a drought and we are conserving water.

*Why are we watering every day? - we aren’t and haven’t been, the excess water is likely from the broken pipe and sprinklers

*The lawn is being cut too short - John (or whoever gets voted in over landscaping) will reach out to Cowboy’s about this, they are a new company this year and still getting familiar with the community.

*Unit 739 with a grapevine in the backyard and has been asked to remove them (they were growing on and over the fence) wants to know if they can keep them - yes, they can as long as they keep them away from siding/roof/shed/etc. & not growing over the fence line

*Interest in zero-scaping in the community - the board would need to discuss it and get a bid from Cowboys

*Low-hanging trees over the sidewalk - we will reach out to Cowboys to trim the branches

*Noise ordinances, what to do if a neighbor or dog is being loud past those times - we follow Springville City noise ordinances, if you notice something, call the non-emergency line

*What is the rule for keeping stuff in the front yard area - we prefer that the community is uniform and presentable, you are welcome to decorate your backyard but the front needs to be left to the HOA

*Some trees are down by the recycling area - landscapers will move them

*Question on sitting cars - if they are registered, we can’t do much. If anything is noticed, please email the HOA

*If you see a broken sprinkler, grab a flag from the clubhouse (Rachael will put them in the lost and found) and put it where the broken sprinkler is, and then email the HOA

*It is recommended that you check your water heaters

*You are required to have a homeowners insurance policy with AT LEAST a $10,000 deductible

*Use ice melt not salt

*Can we send out a monthly email with the meeting minutes and updates on the community?

*Print out notices for Bess or put notices on the mailboxes
