What Do My Dues Pay For?

HOA dues pay for community services and amenities. Our most common costly expenses are utilities--covering the cost of interior and exterior water usage along with sewer and trash services, landscaping along with snow removal during winter, our master insurance policy, and the maintenance of the pool and hot tub.

Any time we are able to save money does not result in a decreased HOA due but instead is put towards our reserve fund. Reserve funds are highly liquid assets that are used to meet future financial obligations to pay for the replacement or repair of community property and can come in handy whenever there are unexpected costs — both big or small.  A Reserve Analysis, last completed in 2020, shows planned expenses for upcoming years.
